El Borge stands out for being the first producer of raisins in all of Spain, which is why a festival is held every year in September in tribute to this fruit (Declared of Tourist Interest by the Provincial Council of Malaga).

The Raisin Route is famous for its raisins and sweet wine.

This route runs through the Axarquía area where the best raisins in the world are found.
